What to expect at your first visit

The goal is to understand the patient and all the factors which impact his/her health. The first visit is 1 ½ hours, during which time Dr. Upcott will take an in-depth patient history. In addition, she may perform a physical exam and lab tests to assist in making an assessment and diagnosis. New patient intake forms must be filled out and brought to the first visit. If you have had any tests or lab work completed in the last 12 months, copies of those may also be brought to the first visit. A personal treatment plan will then be prepared for you.

Hair Analysis Screening- measures levels for 45 essential and toxic elements, including heavy metals  Cost= $85

IgG Food Intolerance Blood Test- to test for food sensitivities/intolerances. Food intolerances may give rise to a wide variety of symptoms which may affect almost any organ in the body. Salivary Hormone Testing- tests Cortisol, DHEA, Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone as an excellent overview of adrenal function and male and female hormone balance.
